Calendar sheets are documents that businesses can use to track employee attendance and time worked.

Introduction

Calendar sheets are an essential tool for many businesses. They allow you to track the time that your employees are working and make sure they're receiving their proper pay. The Open Time Clock software comes with several calendar sheets that can be customized to meet your needs. The best part is that all of our calendar sheets are free!

What is a Calendar Sheet?

A calendar sheet is a document that businesses can use to track employee attendance and time worked. A calendar sheet can be used to track the number of hours an employee works each day, week, or month. It's important for companies in many industries--including retail stores and restaurants--to keep accurate records of this information so they can pay their employees properly at the end of each pay period (or however often they choose).

How to Use a Calendar Sheet

Calendar sheets are a great way to keep track of your employees' work hours and attendance. The calendar sheet is a document that provides an overview of each employee's time worked, as well as their pay rate and deductions made from their paycheck. This information can be used for payroll purposes, or it can be used to check up on how much time an employee has been spending at work on any given day.

Calendar sheets are also helpful when you need to make sure that all employees are being paid fairly for their work; if one person makes more per hour than another person does, but works fewer hours in total because they take longer breaks or go home early sometimes (and vice versa), then there might be something wrong with how much each worker should be earning per hour based on his or her job description and responsibilities. Calendar sheets allow employers who want greater accuracy when calculating wages for different types of positions within the same organization

Create a Calendar Sheet in Open Time Clock

To create a new calendar sheet, click on the + button in the top right-hand corner of your screen. This will bring up a dropdown menu with options for creating new employees or adding more information about an existing employee. Click Create Calendar Sheet.

To create an entry into your calendar sheet, enter the following information:

  • Employee name and date of birth (this can be found on their ID badge)
  • Start time (you can choose from a variety of options here)
  • End time (you can choose from a variety of options here)

and then enter hours worked in decimal format (e.g., 8 hours = 0800 - 1630). Save this entry by clicking Save Entry at the bottom left corner of your screen

A calendar sheet can be used to track employee time.

A calendar sheet is a document that businesses can use to track employee attendance and time worked. A calendar sheet contains a grid that has columns for each day of the week, as well as rows for each employee's name. Each cell in this grid represents an hour of work; these cells are shaded in yellow on Open Time Clock's default template, but you can change their color if you like by clicking on "Select Color" in the Format menu while editing your spreadsheet.

When creating your own custom template, make sure that it has enough rows so that all employees' names fit into them without overlapping one another--this way when someone is clocking out at 5:00 pm on Monday through Friday (assuming they don't take any sick days), there won't be any confusion about who was working when because everyone will have been assigned their own column within which all three letters of their last name appear consecutively from top down until reaching zero again at midnight every Sunday evening before starting over again with Monday morning's first shift beginning at 6 am sharp!

Conclusion

The calendar sheet is a useful tool for businesses to track employee time worked and attendance. It's easy to create a calendar sheet in Open Time Clock and you can use it to keep track of days off as well as regular work hours.
